Hop on hop off bus tour
I always love to do hop on hop off bus tours when I travel to somewhere knew. I believe it is the best way for me to see every hot spot in the city all in one day. We usually have a map before we get on the first stop, which tells us the main attractions we will be able to see on this tour. These types of tours allow you to get on and off the bus whenever you please. We were able to see every single site offered in Dublin from the comfortable seat of a bus, with free wifi! We were allowed to get on and off when we pleased, to see the sights more up close. We used the City Sightseeing Tour Bus which stopped at all of the major attractions:
•Irish Whiskey Museum, Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, St Patrick's Cathedral, Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Guinness Storehouse, Pearse Lyons Whiskey Distillery, Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin Heuston, Dublin Zoo, Tipperary House Dublin, Colin's Barracks, Smithfield Square, Temple Bar Dublin Writers Museum, O'Connell Street Upper, An Post, General Post Office, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, Samuel Beckett Bridge, Grand Canal Dock, Ballsbridge, Simmonscourt Road, Morehampton Road, Leeson Street Upper, Davenport Hotel, Merrion Street Mansion House, Saint Stephen's Green, Dawson Street

guinness storehouse
The Guinness Storehouse is one of the most iconic experiences in Dublin. When you think of traveling to Dublin, most people automatically think of Guinness. We took a tour of the facility to experience the history, heart and soul of Ireland’s most iconic beer. On our tour we were able to explore the story of Guinness across the seven floors of our iconic building, before taking in the 360 views of Dublin city from Gravity Bar. Taking a tour is the way to go. Having a guide be able to explain the history to you is necessary in my opinion. The views from the rooftop bar were incredible!
jameson distillery
The Jameson Distiller was a great tour. You can enjoy a tour, taste some whiskey and even learn how to blend your own whiskey! Master the craft of cocktail making or draw whiskey straight from a cask in Dublin’s only Maturation Warehouse. Swing by for a cocktail or two at JJ’s Bar, or pick up a nice bottle from the shop before heading home (including distillery exclusives).
temple bar
One of the most famous pubs in Dublin is the Temple Bar (established in 1840), famous for its location but also because it offers over 450 different kinds of rare whiskies (Ireland's largest collection). You can't miss this red building, it looks typically Irish and it is always buzzing. It was a great time!
